This rose was in my Mom’s anniversary bouquet from my dad. I just squirted it with water and used the flash on my camera for lighting. I also used a diffuser to make it less harsh. I messed around with the settings on my camera for an hour or so in order to get the lighting right and have the background blacked out a bit.

This photo was taken at Lake Hefner with a Kodak Pixpro AZ425. I applied a grid to my camera and aligned the grasshopper with the left vertical line. The camera was also in landscape mode.
