Submission Guidelines

by Phil Cross

The EPIC News Network accepts contributions from all EPIC students, faculty and staff.  We will review all material submitted to ensure it meets our editorial standards.  Submissions must include the writer’s actual name and contact information.

Articles for EPIC News Network should cover the who, what, when, where, why and how of the story.  Stories will be reviewed for factual accuracy, clarity and balance.

Photographs, or photo essays, must be the photographer’s original work.  Pictures should be clear and not display offensive material.

If you have questions about the submission process, please contact the newsroom using the form on the contact us page.

LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

All letters to the editor should include the author’s real name and contact information.  No anonymous letters will be published.  Letters containing vulgarity or personal attacks will also not be published.

COMMENT POLICY

We want to encourage the public discussion on our stories.  Comments should include the author’s real name.  However, comments must not violate the school’s anti-bullying policies.  Comments with personal attacks or vulgarity will be deleted and reported.
