OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma’s battle against COVID-19 is not going well. The health commissioner calls the new infection rates alarming. Just this week, the Department of Health announced dozens of Oklahomans have died from the virus and the total of number of deaths is rapidly approaching 2,000.
Health officials across the country are worried about a new surge of infections and deaths as a result of people gathering over the Thanksgiving holiday.
